A cool little spot a few blocks from The Legacy Center, a block or so from ball park. Staff was nice, check in was quick (with a reservation), and room was good layout. Breakfast was good, according to members of the entourage.
Beautiful hotel! This hotel sits in a renovated Warehouse that's over 100 years old. They did a phenomenal job rehabbing the building. The rooms are ginormous or at least mine was. I happened to be downstairs during their morning employee meeting. I saw the team engaged, happy, and enjoying their jobs. Looks like the culture is positive here.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. All of the staff were very helpful and nice. After speaking with there awesome manager Trayonna she really made it easier to come back for another stay. It was very impressive to see an understaffed hotel work as if they were fully staffed. If you are in the Montgomery(Gump), I highly recommend that you stay at the Springhill Suites by Marriott Montgomery Downtown.
I recently stayed at Springhill Suites By Marriott Montgomery Downtown and I can't say enough great things about ShiDiamond Cheatham. From the moment my husband and I walked in, she made us feel genuinely welcomed. Her friendly demeanor set the tone for our stay, and it was evident that she truly cares about the guests. We encountered a minor issue with our third-party reservation, and ShiDiamond was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to assist us, ensuring everything was resolved quickly and smoothly. Thank you, ShiDiamond, for your outstanding service and kindness. We had a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be back!
Stayed at SpringHill Suites for one night before OTS. Very nice. Large clean renovated rooms. Bathroom was big, modern and clean. 20ft ceilings with brick walls which added a classic look. Staff was very helpful and responsive. Washer dryer but dryer doesn't work. Small clean fitness room. Walk to restaurants.
The SpringHill Suites in downtown Montgomery is set in a historic building that was re-purposed as a hotel. There is street metered parking that is monitored during business hours. One can park there after 5, however, the meter must be paid by 8:00AM. They offer valet parking for a fee and the service was really quick to retrieve vehicles. The rooms are set up in a suite format with a living room and bedroom area. The ceilings were around 15 tall and make the rooms feel huge. The only drawback was the lack of adequate lighting in the room. The breakfast was standard with waffles, biscuits, eggs, sausage, and yogurt. Overall a great experience.
The front desk lady was super amazing! Room wasn't ready until well after check-in hours because of an event. That wasn't so bad...but when we got the room and went in, we realized it hadn't been cleaned! All the towels were dirty, but the lady at the front quickly got us fresh towels and it was fine. Seems like a funny fluke and now we have a funny story!
Loved my stay here! It felt great to come back home to Montgomery to see how well downtown has developed, and the stay here at Springhill on Coosa Street was the cherry on top. Professional and approachable staff, decent continental breakfast, clean rooms and hotel in general. Any question or concern we had was addressed to the best of their ability. We will be back. Great job!
